Pretty much just loving everything PvP these days! Tol Borad, BGs, arena, duels, it doesn’t matter! I love it all! xD I feel I’ve improved a lot over these past 2 weeks, I still have a long way to go before I’m actually “good” but I’m feeling like I have the potential!

Psh, who needs raiding!

Try cranking your settings down to low in the options... If you still can't play after that I don't know what's wrong because it sounds like you meet the requirements to play the game.

Hey, thanks for the suggestion! I’ve tried turning everything to low but no luck :( I still haven’t logged on since I format my laptop though, I went to bed during the maintenance and woke up not long ago because of my gay insomnia. I’m gunna log on soon and see if the format has helped any! If not, my laptop is probably dying :/ it’s already falling to pieces because of how much I’ve used it in the past 2 yrs since I bought it >.> It’s served me well thus far! Thanks for the suggestion though! :)

Well, I’ve been messing about on D3 with my husband for a bit, I’m only level 7, due to my laptop being a piece of shit and I lag way too much to really enjoy the game :/ I’m pretty bummed because my husband was really looking forward to playing with me and I really wanted to give the game a go (I’m not a big fan of click to move games) but of what I have been able to play, I’m starting to feel like that my opinion of click to move games was a little premature. I’ve only ever played them for 5-10 minutes max in the past, but once you get comfortable with the controls, they actually are pretty fun.

I tried formatting my laptop tonight because WoW has been running like crap for a while too and I was starting to feel like my laptop might be starting to get junked up, so fingers crossed it helps improve my game performance! If not, it looks like I’ll have to suffer through the graphical lag or wait until after we get back from our trip to the US when I can build my new PC :(

I just don’t know why the game isn’t handling well on my laptop, HP Pavillion dv6, it’s an i5, 2.27GHz CPU, with a Radeon 5650 graphics card and 4gb ram. Clearly it’s not amazing, but it’s not exactly terrible either :/ I’d seriously thought it would be enough to handle D3 -sigh-

One of Australias game companies (GAME) is going in to Administration and can’t supply Diablo 3 OR refund the money made on preorders, so Blizzard is GIVING these people Blizzard store credit so they can purchase the game through their store for FREE since they lost their preorder and deposit. It’s still really sucky for the people who preordered Collectors Edition from GAME and won’t be able to get them now, but I think it’s amazing that Blizzard is doing this for their fans/customers.

I’m just glad I don’t have any preorders with GAME anymore, because I’ve purchased and preordered almost all my games from GAME and even my PS3 from them.

Been BGing all day because the hubby and I have been doing a lot of arena lately and we’re both really enjoying it and aren’t too bad at it! Well, my husband is amazing, he’s been pvp crazy since the very beginning of WoW, has the Lieutenant Commander title on his rogue and I’m yet to come across another rogue who can beat him! (I do love watching people try though!)

I hit 4.3k resil today too, so hopefully I’m a lot less squishy in arena now! (started out with 2.1k from the crafted blues and it was painful). Oh and I’m a Shadow Priest btw, holy is my main PVE spec though, not that keen on Disc for PVP.

Just been messing around on the beta duelling my husband. Priests have been buffed insanely for shadow pvp! The fears, the instant mind blast, the power of dots and the glyph that allows you to apply PoM and renew while in shadowform. LOVE IT! Wonder how long it will take them to nerf’em after MoP hits and people start crying about spriests. Hopefully people are too annoyed by monks to notice shadow priests at first xD

I’m not entirely sure I understand what you mean D: Do you mean the game menu that I have on the right side of my screen? Because I just used the addon Bartender to do that. If that’s not it, just let me know exactly which thing you mean, it’s almost 5am here and I haven’t slept yet >.> I might be missing something haha.

So, I finally reached Exalted with Ogri’la! One of the crappiest reps I’ve had to farm so far. That stupid colour remembering quest makes me want to /wrists every time I’ve done it. I’m glad I’ll -never- have to do it again!

This one has me at 36 / 40 reputations exalted. I’m also only 3k rep away from Ramkahen exalted, then I’ll just need 3 more for my exalted title! :D (Earthen Ring, Wildhammer Clan and 1 other pain in the arse rep of my choice (Either Baradin’s Wardens, guild exalted or farming up the rest of my Dampscale Basilisk Eyes to go from Aldor > Scryers, whichever comes first).

I’m also toying with the idea of going for the Insane title. Insane right? xD but I love seeing so many reps exalted on my reputation pane! By far my biggest accomplishment in WoW.

So, I went to bed at 10pm (Australian time) which was the exact same time the WoW servers went down, thinking I’d just sleep right on through maintenance, but my body decides it hates me and I’ve been tossing and turning all night and it’s now 2am and I’m sitting here wide awake :| I just ate like 1/4 of a bag of jellybeans too, so now I feel a little sick as well, haha. Ughh, hope I can get some more sleep soon! I just see no point spending more time in bed not sleeping, so I might just chill on FB/Reddit/Tumblr for a while and hopefully get tired.

Levelling my warrior once WoW is back up! Hubby and I just got our fist level 80 RAF toons (still have a 68 hunter, 60something DK that both need to be 80 then just have a druid to level from 1-80 then I’ll have all class spots filled!) I’d post a screenshot of my character screen.. but alas WoW is down, so it will have to wait! My goal is to have all classes at 85 by MoP! xD

FYI, this isn’t a bitch about WoW being down, it’s a bitch about not sleeping, lol I’ve been playing WoW for 6 yrs now, I’m pretty much used to the fact that sometimes (used to be over 90% of the time), Tuesday means no WoW :P

MoP Beta Update!

So, I’m currently a level 9 Pandaren Monk! Questing thus far has been alright. It is, after all, a beta, so I wasn’t expecting smooth sailing, but levelling was nice and easy until the lag hit and getting from 5-9 was pretty slow.

One of the most annoying things for me and I’m sure hundreds of others will agree, was getting that damned torch lit >_> but when I seen this little suggestion pop up:

I decided to give it a go, had to try a few times but IT WORKED! :D You had to be really fast in hitting escape to close off the game menu and have your mouse ready to click the fire, but after sitting there for like 30 minutes hoping people would just move, this made me extremely happy, haha.

So far the starting zone quests have been pretty good, nothing completely “new” in quest objectives, but there was one quest where you had to jump/balance on these poles and attack other Pandarens, which was something a little different!

There was also a quest where you had to destroy these Banners of Wisdoms, upon destroying one, I received this message:

which gave me a bit of a laugh, haha.

There’s more I could share but it’s getting pretty late, so I think I’m gunna head to bed! To sum up though, MoP isn’t too bad! A lot of people have been hating on the pandas, but I think they make an interesting addition to the game and I’m really looking forward to MoP launch (whenever that may be. Damnit Blizz, give us a date!). The Pandaran zone is very pretty to look at though, remember how awesome the Blood Elf zone was when you first seen it? It’s “prettiness” reminded me of how awesome I thought the BE starting area was when BC was released.
